Mentor Program

Mentors are upperclassmen selected for their leadership and positive qualities to help incoming students with various issues they may face in their first semester at Keuka. They help minimize anxiety, promote positive attitudes, and stimulate an excitement for learning.
Mentors also have a get together every week in order to help acquaint new students get with Keuka’s offerings and life on campus. Many issues that mentors assist with are homesickness, difficulties with classes or making friends, making good college life decisions and acting as a link between the incoming student and the rest of campus within their first few hours here.
These student leaders are in attendance to help out at June testing days, Transition Week, and maintain relationships with their mentees for the first six weeks of classes … and usually beyond.
